Special Notice for California Policyholders

Following the catastrophic wild fires that have ravaged parts of California, the California Department of Insurance has issued a notification to insurance carriers to suspend termination of life insurance policies for those affected. The suspension period began October 13 and remains in effect until November 13, 2017. Insureds residing in the affected zip codes will not lose coverage due to non-payment of premiums during the moratorium period. Please note, premiums will be due after the period has expired unless it is extended. We will continue to closely monitor events as they unfold, identifying additional counties covered by the moratorium, following any directives from the California Department of Insurance and offering our full support to those impacted in the weeks and months to come.


Special Notice for Florida Policyholders

We have instituted a 90-day moratorium on lapses in coverage for those affected by Hurricane Irma starting September 4 through December 3, 2017. Insureds residing in the counties affected by the storm will not lose coverage due to non-payment of premiums during this period. Premiums will be due after the 30-day period expires. We will continue to closely monitor events as they unfold, identifying additional counties covered by the moratorium, following any directives from the Florida Department of Insurance and offering our full support to those impacted in the weeks and months to come.

Affected Counties:

Broward, Charlotte, Clay, Collier, Duval, Flagler, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Miami-Dade, Monroe, Palm Beach, Pinellas, Putnam, Sarasota, and St. Johns.


Special Notice for Puerto Rico and US Virgin Island Policyholders

We have instituted a 90-day moratorium on lapses in coverage for those affected by Hurricane Irma starting September 11 through December 11, 2017. Insureds residing in Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands affected by the storm will not lose coverage due to non-payment of premiums during this period. Premiums will be due after the 90-day period expires. We will continue to closely monitor events as they unfold, following any directives from the Department of Insurance and offering our full support to those impacted in the weeks and months to come.
