These days, people and organizations are doing more to help veterans in their everyday lives.

Now, one store in Waterloo, Iowa, has added an extra bit of convenience for former service members.

In much the same way as it provides handicap parking, a Lowe’s location now also has a veteran parking spot at the front of the lot. However, veterans don’t need to have a physical disability to use it.

The signs are provided free of charge by Wounded Warriors Family Support, a nonprofit organization.

Lowe’s made the change in hopes that it will inspire other businesses across the country – large and small – to adopt similar practices going forward.

Thanks for watching, and be sure to check in again later for more videos about veterans.
