Most military servicemembers look forward to care packages from home. One of the most requested items in these packages is reading material. Let’s talk about a few good books to send deployed soldiers.
“The Art of War” by Sun Tzu is an ancient classic that will inspire your servicemember to find the art in their situation. Aside from the military perspective, Tzu’s teachings offer great life lessons.
Another great book to send is “Lord of the Flies” by William Golding. This classic provides the reader with a juxtaposition of chaos and order, as well as an examination of good and evil. Soldiers may find this read comforting.
