If you know someone who’s interested in becoming a firefighter or pursuing a degree in fire science, the following scholarships present great opportunities for those individuals to make their dreams a reality. Pass them along and help someone become part of the firefighting community.
The International Association of Fire Fighters offers scholarships to members and their children. The organization supports those individuals who are interested in firefighting as a professional career.
Firefighters who were disabled in the line of duty or their dependents who are interested in becoming firefighters can apply for the Firefighters Disability Exemption Scholarship. The award amount varies, but it’s renewable for up to 8 semesters.
