Greetings!

This video series is designed to help you recognize the common mistakes that military members make on a civilian resume and how to avoid them.

A wordy, poorly focused resume is an instant turnoff to recruiters. Try to use bullet points and keep your ideas centered around the company and job to which you are applying.

Additionally, recruiters are looking for accomplishment based highlights. instead of using phrases such as “duties included,” try outlining your strengths and achievements in your previous role and relating them to the potential job.

Thanks for joining us once again. Part 3 of this video will be posted shortly.
