Many veterans need help in their daily lives after service. Fortunately, a number of organizations exist to help connect them with people and even animals to provide crucial assistance.

One such group is known as Dog T.A.G.S.

Its goal to get veterans with PTSD and other traumatic injuries paired with service dogs that can help them day-to-day.

A recent fundraiser for the group in Scranton, Pennsylvania, was a major success. It allowed people to see how much a service dog can actually do for veterans, through both training demonstrations and testimonials from former service members themselves.
