While some veterans have rightfully complained about how their health care through the VA has gone in recent years, many still receive some significant benefits.
For instance, a large number who need glasses or hearing aids may be able to get these items at a relatively small cost, or even for free.
Eligibility for those free products is based on enrollment priority groups, but even if the products aren’t available at no cost, the co-pay would only be about $50.
Additionally, repairs and adjustment of glasses and hearing aids alike would be free after that initial cost.
When veterans need these kinds of products, all they need to do is contact their local VA Health Care System about availability.
The more vets can do to make sure they know all the benefits available to them, the better off they’re going to be.
