Welcome back.
Military families know just how emotional a time deployment can be.
Thankfully, there are steps to take that help to smooth the process.
How about we pick up where we left off?
You’ll want a calendar for step six, which is to schedule appointments and bill payments.
Step seven is to add all birthdays, anniversaries and any other special events to the calendar.
To complete the next step, make sure you’ve got all the necessary legal documentation.
That includes birth certificates, powers of attorney, insurance cards, etc.
Step nine is to make yourself a list of short- and long-term goals.
These should both keep you busy and help you to improve yourself.
Last but certainly not least, hide some notes in your deploying family member’s luggage.
Even little messages will put a smile on their face while they’re away.
