Greetings!
As military spouses know all too well, enduring a husband or wife’s long deployment can be hard.
Thankfully, there are a few solid coping mechanisms for making it through to their return.
Going back to school is one option.
Since you know another move is probably in your future, improving your educational qualifications can make you employable anywhere.
Getting involved with the local community is another great choice.
If you’ve got children, attend PTA meetings or help plan events.
If not, volunteer at a local shelter or library.
Any one of these paths will help you feel included and a part of something larger than yourself.
Being a military spouse is a difficult job, no doubt about it, but finding activities to fill your time makes long deployments a whole lot more bearable.
