In Part 1 of this series, we introduced two colleges that were welcoming to former servicemembers. Let’s take a look a few more veteran-friendly educational options.
Nestled in the middle of the Little Apple, Kansas State University is a great place for veterans looking to further their education. K-State participates in the Veterans Educational Assistance Program and the Survivors and Dependents Educational Assistance Program.
As a Green Zone college, the University of South Carolina is a safe place for veterans as well. As Gamecocks, former servicemembers will have access to the Student Veterans Association and the combat to classroom transition program.
