Welcome back!

This 3-part video series has discussed some things for military members to avoid when drafting their civilian resumes. In the final video in this series, we will discuss a few more “don’ts” for resume building.

Though you may want recruiters to understand your desire for the position, try to keep your objective clear and simple. An overly stated objective can begin to sound like begging.

Finally, never submit a resume that you haven’t proofread and edited. Spelling errors, grammar mistakes and other issues are an excellent way to get your resume passed by in favor of the next candidate.

Thank you for joining us. We hope you’ve found this series helpful.
